Job Description:
This position requires the ability to execute, analyze, plan, recommend, and evaluate investigations and security operations.
The duties involve:
Conduct investigations involving unauthorized disclosure, employee misconduct, misuse of property, theft, violence in the workplace, vandalism, espionage, sabotage, or loss.
Prepares investigative reports and other written materials needed to support disciplinary actions, grievance hearings, and appeals.
Review and evaluate background reports for employment and facility access.
Assists in the administration of automated security systems including but not limited to access control, badging, and visitor monitoring software.

Required/Preferred Education/Training:
Bachelor's degree or combination of experience and education required.
Experience conducting investigations and preparing reports required.

Experience:
Ability to travel from site-to-site to conduct investigations.
Availability to occasionally work weekends and evenings or early morning shifts to conduct investigations.
Ability to obtain a secret clearance.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
