Front Line Supervisor, Welding

Job Description
Plan, organize and coordinate work for mechanics- Ensure safe work conditions & implementation of safety requirements- Ensure construction schedule and cost account adherence- Ensure 1st time quality of all work accomplished- Assign and status work orders/coordinate operational schedule- Maintain & communicate with other supervisors to help achieve & maintain smooth work flow and high degree of productivity- Support and administer union labor contract and ensure safety regulations- Use electronic time accounting system to maintain employees regular work schedules and overtime
Required/Preferred Education/Training
High School Diploma or GED required- Graduate of Welding/Technical school preferred- Welding certification preferred
Required/Preferred Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding classification- Minimum of 1 year of experience in shipbuilding manufacturing processes- Previous supervisory experience in a production environment preferred- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required- Work history of positive working relationships with peers required- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage conflict and changing priorities

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
