SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying an expert knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) principles and concepts to plan, implement, and coordinate logistics relating to new ship construction. Specialized experience involves (1) Broad knowledge of the technical features and uses of shipboard mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment and their support materials (2) Shipbuilding Material Management processes to planning, material procurement, fiscal considerations, and logistics. Examples of specialized experience include:
1) Review, analyze, and coordinate all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) tasks such as planning, financial, contracts, manpower, materials, facilities, etc.; 2) Monitor the development of logistical data inputs on new construction shipbuilding, Ship Restricted Availability (SRA) and Dry-Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA) contacts; 3) Evaluation of design, configuration, and engineering changes for major components of new/modified equipment systems and commodity classes; 4) Utilizing knowledge of how logistics systems are managed in support of maintenance operations, plans and programs in order to evaluate effectiveness, integrate functional applications and resolve systemic problems. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
